Haloumi in Brine
Available sizes: 2kg, 7kg or 14kg buckets

Paphos Cheese Pty Ltd - Haloumi tubs

Made from pasteurised cow's milk, our traditional Cyprus Haloumi cheese in brine has a unique taste and texture. It is folded, seasoned with mint leaves, and then stored in its natural juices with salt-water.

This is an amazingly versatile cheese. It has a high melting point, and as such, can easily be fried, grilled or barbecued. It can be grated on top of pasta and other dishes, marinated, fried for breakfast with your eggs, or eaten plain. In the warmer months, try eating the Haloumi together with watermelon.

Our Haloumi can be kept refrigerated for months and also can be frozen.

Haloumi Packets
Available sizes: Approx. 250g each

Paphos Cheese Pty Ltd - Haloumi

Our Haloumi Packets (like our Haloumi in brine) are made from pasteurised cows milk. Folded and seasoned with mint leaves, it has a slightly lower salt level than the Haloumi in Brine. Just like our Haloumi in brine, this delicious traditional Cyprus Haloumi is incredibly versatile and can be used on a number of dishes.

An unopened vacuum package will keep refrigerated for months and can also be frozen.

Feta Cheese
Available sizes: 1kg, 2kg or 13kg buckets

Paphos Cheese Pty Ltd - Feta

Made from pasteurized cows milk, our Feta is firm and compact yet easily crumbled, has no rind and a myriad of small holes.

Feta is consumed at every meal in Greece. You will find it in pastries and pies such as Spanokopitta (the delicious cheese and spinach pies found all over Greece); in salads (usually with olives, tomatoes, raw onion, and olive oil); or mixed with almost any combination of fresh or cooked vegetables. It does not dissolve completely when baked or grilled, giving its lightness to endless Greek dishes.

Easter Cheese (Flaouna Cheese)
Available sizes: Approx. 2-3kg

Paphos Cheese Pty Ltd - Easter Cheese

Our traditional Easter cheese, also known as Flaouna cheese, is produced with the same method as Haloumi, but is not put in salty water. It is mainly used for making traditional Cypriot Flaouna cakes during Greek Orthodox Easter or social events, but can also be eaten plain.

Despite its name, this cheese is available all year round.
